Our Heritage
Since February of 1982, Vast Bank, N.A. has been a locally-owned and operated full-service financial institution that prides itself on being one of the few remaining independent banks in northeastern Oklahoma.
Robert Biolchini, a successful Tulsa businessman and lawyer purchased two Green Country banks: Bank of the Lakes and Valley National Bank. Robert served as Chairman of Vast Bank until his passing in November of 2017.
In mid-2017, toward the end of Robert Biolchini's tenure, the decision was made to rename and rebrand the bank from Valley National Bank to Vast Bank, a name that better reflected the bank’s ever-evolving mission to serve customers better. Later that year, Tom Biolchini would be elected to replace Robert Biolchini as chairman of the board.
In 2024, Entrepreneur Robert Gregory Kidd invested $53 million of capital into Vast Bank’s holding company, Vast Holdings, Inc., to support the banking organization and make Vast a more accessible financial institution. Vast also named Vast Bank Board member and industry veteran Jeff Pickryl as CEO.
